NCS Moms In Touch meets on the Main campus every Wednesday in room C102 in the Cook Center from 8:00-9:00AM. The purpose of Moms In Touch is to intercede for our children through prayer, and to pray that our schools may be guided by biblical values and high standard morals. The 2009-10 school year theme is “Walk Worthy.” This call for us this year comes from Ephesians 4:1, which states, “Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called.” If we profess to be Christian then we must walk in a manner that demonstrates Christ. How? Every day take time to do something drastic, pray & read God’s word, expect the unexpected, and keep a constant reminder.

The NCS men are continuing their Friday morning prayer group called “Big Boys On Campus.” This is a time when our NCS fathers get together to pray for our school, students, teachers, and leaders. After a short time of corporate prayer, the fathers walk the campus praying. Please feel free to join us every Friday morning from 6:30-7:15AM. The 30th year of Northwest Christian School is officially underway. In 1980 we began as a K-8 school with only 117 students and 14 staff members. Those early days brought many challenges, and survival was often equally as important as success. I have great admiration for those early pioneers and adventurers of NCS. Those parents, teachers and leaders were obedient to God’s call, and they trusted Him to fulfill the dream He had planted on their hearts.

Here we are 30 years later as living testimony of God’s provision, faithfulness and might. In honor of our 30-year anniversary, we would like to offer up an exciting idea for every person connected with NCS to consider.
